Greetings from the Korean Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (KSCRS)!
I express my appreciation for the efforts of the previous chair and advisory board members, and assure you that the newly elected members and I are going to devote the next two years to the KSCRS. I feel a great responsibility for the difficulties that we are currently experiencing; however, I believe what we need right now are not worries and fear, but passion and confidence.
The mission of the KSCRS symposium is to advance the art and science of cataract and refractive surgery, and the knowledge and skills of ophthalmic surgeons, by providing clinical and practice management education. We will also offer a video symposium to help beginners as well as advanced surgeons regarding new skills and the management of complications. Mutual exchange of up-to-date clinical information between Asia and the USA would be reinforced.
The advisory board members and I will exert our utmost care to promote the delivery and advancement of high-quality eye care. Advice, as well as concerns, from the members are much appreciated. Thank you!
